Go down a few lines to "White Non-Hispanic". Whites are less than half of Huntington Station.Even if Hispanics make up just 30% of a local population, that is enough to start seeing increases in street crime like we saw last night in N. Amityville. A neighborhood does not have to be "mostly" minority to have serious problems. Around 30-40% is enough to kill a neighborhood. I just saw some lowlife walking down Corona Ave with praying hands and rosary beads tattooed to his arm. It's amazing how the Hispanic street thug culture has hijacked Christian symbolism. |
