Blacks are probably around 50% of N. Amityville. Hispanics about 35-40%.I don't have a bias. I go by Newsday and Long Island Press. They have not published nearly as many Wyandanch stories as I would expect from a "bad" town. Aside from the drive-by killing of a bus driver, Wyandanch didn't make headlines for many years. It was mostly Brentwood, Central Islip and Huntington Station. |
