BFD. It's not like these people are trying to run them over. Also, the car I use from time to time locks the doors automatically at 20 km/h (yes, km/h all cars are designed in metric nowadays). When I had a car without auto-locking I would sometimes remember to lock the door and it wasn't necessarily when I would see "dangerous minorities" although sometimes it was near dangerous minorities (usually when I stopped at the first traffic light of my trip, regardless of the pedestrians there).
