My impression is that affirmative action programs have gotten stronger in the last decade or two, so even if Sotomayor would not have made it in to YLS today if she were Sonia Smith, she would have made it in back in the 1970's.Huh? Are you saying that affirmative action has a significant negative effect on the admission probabilities of people named Smith? |
