This isn’t some random person you encounter, it’s a murderer. Why can’t we consider her* possible mental illness. There is obviously comorbidity between various mental issues and identifying as transgender; we should not be afraid to look into that.

Also, “non-binary” is not a thing.

*A “transwoman” is still grammatically female, just like a ship is.
