That is something that we as a society can’t explore because “transitioning” is celebrated.

I don't see celebration. I see sympathy (from some).

There is extensive examination of gender dysphoria as a form of mental illness. The goal is to help these folks be less miserable. The medical profession is trying to address that, sometimes with massive interference from government.
