They won't, but I'll bite ...1) Tell them STOP screwing around with Venezuela ... if the PEOPLE want a socialist government, give the dictator their skim off the top. Venezuela used to be almost 50% of our supply. Nigeria ... give every lawyer in the country a bank letter from the First Presbyterian Bank of Memphis giving them legal authority over the now-closed accounts of the former Prime Minister and anybody that's DUMB enough to send them money LOSES it. Oh wait, mission accomplished. But let's get NIGERIA back into the fold. That's MORE oil. 2) If you're going to spend money, then RAISE the taxes so the American people can SEE how y'all in congrefs are whizzing it away. Only reason why the dollar is worthless is the same old LIBERAL reason - you print money but don't back it, now it's junk bonds. I'm sorry, but "tax and spend" is nowhere NEAR as stupid as "borrow and spend" ... PAY yer damned bills or we're cutting you off. Just like Mastercard. :( 3) OTHER nations also were willing to sell us oil (back when we had a dollar, see (2)) but we've chosen to piss them off. Nations NOT either Venezuela nor Nigeria ... we're talking the "North Sea" nations. "Old Yurp" ... they'd rather sell to China too. And oh, what about LIBYA? We sold out and yet we haven't laid a single pipe yet. What's with that? Is Qaddafi our friend or NOT? And then there's RUSSIA ... before our beloved leader called their leader, "Pooty-poot" (which trashed THAT deal) there was lots of oil in Russia too back when we were cooperating with them when "Bubba" was President (remember how CHEAP "pooty-poot putty-putt" got to be int he days of YUKOS before Bush worked to throttle them to shore up MOB-ON's profits?) But hey ... what can I say? What we're doing under the God's Oil Party is SURE better ... so slap me and call me a liberal. :) |
