What he pretended or didn’t pretend to be is irrelevant.

And yet there are close to 20 posts (almost all of the posts in this thread), not discussing the crime or the criminal but the criminal's gender. It is so ultra-important to these posters to get the criminal's gender labeled correctly in their eyes.
