Back in the day our grammar school had nuclear attack drills. We would duck under our desks or go down to the chapel & duck under the pews (like that would save us). It was in Woodside which is the geographical center of NYC, quite possibly in the crosshairs for a direct hit. Point being, those drills were never considered "child abuse". Stupid maybe but not abusive. |
