If you repeal the 2nd amendment and order the gun owners to turn in their guns, determined bad guys and head cases would still be able to get guns. After all, during prohibition when all alcohol selling & distribution was banned, people still drank. During Rockefeller's harsh anti drug laws, people still got high. Point being, no matter what new gun laws (if any) are passed, you want a gun, you can get a gun.
