You're a bad equivocator. Simply because they made a choice, it was the right choice? and because they were not under duress to make the right choice, making the wrong choice was OK?

Apparently to you, executives are not entitled to job security, yet labor is

??? I never said anything of the kind! This is a case of executives being rewarded for failure. Union workers do not get rewarded for failure—they get fired all the time, and there is no guarantee of severance when they do.

That's terribly magnanimous of you. But again, we are not talking about job security. Stop clinging to this fallacy.

Actually, in terms of the CEO being "better," it is only because in general, one deserves more pay, that is the only way that the executive is "better."

We're not talking about that. CEOs should get paid for doing their jobs, not failing at their jobs.
