No, as I've already established, this is not an example of corruption. The board of directors were under no obligation to include this severance condition in the contract yet they chose to. Apparently to you, executives are not entitled to job security, yet labor is. Both are entitled to job security. Actually, in terms of the CEO being "better," it is only because in general, one deserves more pay, that is the only way that the executive is "better." |
