You've established no such thing. All you've "established" is that you condone it.

You've established nothing either. The burden is on you as you've stated it was corruption and offered no evidence for said assertion.

You're a bad equivocator. Simply because they made a choice, it was the right choice? and because they were not under duress to make the right choice, making the wrong choice was OK?

You've not established why it was the wrong choice, only citing that it is corrupt, which you have not demonstrated.

??? I never said anything of the kind! This is a case of executives being rewarded for failure. Union workers do not get rewarded for failure—they get fired all the time, and there is no guarantee of severance when they do.

That they are not entitled to the same job security is not relevant to this discussion, as the fact that they are not does not mean that they should or should not be, it only means that it is the current practice. If a union wanted to include an anti-firing clause in its contract, then I would not be against it.
