Yes. But don't worry about it. LOL.

I asked why you believe God exists, not why a local Orthodox rabbi believes God exists. Being open to questions means you answer them, not that you point to an Authority™ and declare: "I believe whatever he says."
What do you want to hear? That I tried the kool-aid and it tasted good? That's pretty much it.

Incidentally, the last time I asked a rabbi this question, his answer contained many dodges and hedges and waffles but basically boiled down to: "Actually, I kind of don't." Of course that wasn't an Orthodox rabbi, so as far as you're concerned he probably wasn't even Jewish.
WRONG. Your level of observance is not the primary factor in determining if you are Jewish or not.
