Is De Blasio's Wife Gay, Bi or What? |

Posted by Mitch45 on Thu Nov 7 11:25:09 2013 I don't get this woman.She comes out as gay years ago and has several long term relationships with women. She writes an article called "I am a Lesbian." According to the NY Times, she was a member of a political group that advanced the rights of gays and lesbians. Next thing you know, she marries a man and has two kids, one of whom has hair like Shirley Hemphill from "What's Happening!" And now she calls De Blasio "the love of my life". Now, here's my question. Lesbian does not mean bisexual - it means gay. We've been told for years that homosexuality is determined at birth and is not a choice. Fair enough. So what does that say about De Blasio's wife? Was her lesbianism a choice that she abandoned? If that isn't possible, is she still a lesbian? If that's true, why is De Blasio the "love of her life"? Not that there's anything wrong with that. I just feel like the media has passed over this issue because De Blasio is a big lefty. If he was a Republican with a wife like this, he would never have been elected. |
