The laws to permit commercialization were passed a few years before President Clinton took office. Fact is,the republicans had no interest in the law then Sen. Gore got passed. They're still pissed off because they don't own it all...it made household names out of Gates, Bezos, Jobs and Google. None of whom had anything to do with the big businesses of Halliburton, Bechtel, Northrup Grumman or Lockheed republicans favor. They resent tech. |
