Everyone said shit like that about President Clinton and look what happened....the economy boomed although they all whined that raising taxes would have the opposite effect. It didn't. People got off their asses, invested money and built up an economy that made them richer. This boomed the government into budget surpluses that we could have been close to paying down debt by now had bush NOT invaded Iraq and left the tax rates ALONE.There is no reason under the sun that De Blasio will not succeed as mayor, excepting external sources such as an uncooperative Albany. |
