"...and a very pro-Israel one at that."Yes, but let me qualify this. I am pro-Israel in the sense that until Gentiles learn how to cure their anti-Semitism, Jews need their own country. However, that does not mean that I blindly approve of everything Israel does. I am quite against settlement-building in the West Bank, at least right now. If the Israeli government has money to spend on building and infrastructure, it should be spent on getting reliable water sources into the Negev, so that people could move there. I understand its a desert and no one wants to live in the Negev but with reliable water sources (pipelines, irrigation, et al) the Israeli population could spread out into a huge part of Israel that is mostly empty. But that's my 0.02. |
