If you have a GPS you shouldn't need signs at all.Incorrect - - the signs guide you to which lane you should be on and the next road you will be on after the split. By your logic, you should be guessing the correct lane to use after crossing the outbound (westbound) NJ side of the GW Bridge - - I95 (to I80), US 1/9/46, NJ Route 4, Palisades Parkway, NJ Route 63 (IINM) - the works. Or try that mess by EWR - I78, U.S. 1/9 local and express lanes, U.S. 22, NJ Route 21/Raymond Blvd, NJ Turnpike/I95, EWR airport entrances. That's why signs are there not only to guide you as you are using GPS but also to get into the proper lane safely. |

I would agree that the straight-ahead sign should say Astoria Blvd. rather than Marine Air Terminal. Marine Air Terminal is only one of many destinations you reach by going straight ahead and should really not be singled out. The sign vaguely implies that the rest of LGA would be to the right, since they singled out Marine Air Terminal as being straight ahead.Don't overthink it. I'm fine with Marine Air Terminal if it also said Astoria Blvd. |

You obviously do not know how to read English. No one would click on a link to a route that is not the one he is interested in. That is like saying if there was a heading called American History and the clickable link was Civil War, someone interested in the Revolutionary War would click on "Civil War" in the absence of a link to Revolutionary War. So you are saying there are no parallel streets to Woodhaven for traffic to spill over to.Nonsense. The on,y difference between Woodhaven's parallel streets and Nostrand's is that Woodhaven's are less contiguous forcing you to switch streets about every quarter to half mile whereas you can travel much longer than that on Nostrand's parallel streets. When traffic is nearly standing still, drivers will take any other street that is moving. In tine they will shift to other corridors like Leffets Blvd or the Van Wyck which is also overloaded. |

Anyone who know how to read English wou,d do nothing of the sort.Wrong!!!! Anyone in his right mind would click on that link if they wanted ANYTHING to do with SBS!!!!!!!!!! Where is the proff that they wou,d do what you say.The proff is that that's how the internet works. You clearly FAIL at the internets. And that's not an insult. That's just a fact-based observation. Generally, clicks are free. You don't get charged for extra clicks (assuming you are on a land-line-based data plan). So normal people on the internet click on anything and everything that may even be remotely relevant to what they want in the hopes of finding what they want. That's why they'd click. You must not find what you want too often if you refuse to click on anything that isn't EXACTLY what you want. We browse the WORLD WIDE WEB of LINKS. The whole idea of the INTERNET is that information is linked together. You find one thing, which has links to more related stuff. So if you find, on the main page of the MTA, a link about SBS, you damn well would click on it with the hopes (and EXPECTATION) of finding LINKS (it's the internet, you fool!) to more stuff about SBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But don't feel bad, it's not just you. I've anecdotally found that many old people are scared to click on anything and everything to find what they need. Old people need to listen to and learn from younger people. My 4-year-old would find SBS info faster than you. She navigates apps and websites AND FINDS WHAT SHE WANTS without having to ask me a million questions like you do! So sad. You are always asking for others to provide proff but never provide any yourself.Again, that's a lie. I almost always provide proff when necessary. You're a damn liar and a hypocrite. |
