So you are saying there are no parallel streets to Woodhaven for traffic to spill over to.Nonsense. The on,y difference between Woodhaven's parallel streets and Nostrand's is that Woodhaven's are less contiguous forcing you to switch streets about every quarter to half mile whereas you can travel much longer than that on Nostrand's parallel streets. When traffic is nearly standing still, drivers will take any other street that is moving. In tine they will shift to other corridors like Leffets Blvd or the Van Wyck which is also overloaded. |
