Are you asking for photographic evidence? If it were provided, you would just claim the photo was doctored or else say that the photo doesn't prove anything. Because you always have to be right.

On Ave N, E 12 to E 19th tend to be "traveling lights," changing in succession with the direction of traffic. Without congestion, E 12 to E 19 is real fast and ordinarily non-stop on Ave N. This is do-able because Ave N is one way.

Ave P, a two-way, tends to have all the lights change at once (again, same range, E 12 to E 19).

But On Beverley, it seems you have to stop at almost every block between Coney Isl Ave and Ocean Ave, regardless of direction traveled. I was just wondering if it's intentional or not. It seems to literally be set up that unless you totally put the pedal to the metal, you arrive just on time at each block for the light to turn red in some cases.

Then you have the nerve to claim you don't insult anyone, when your first words are: "Wow, you're an idiot."

Imagine you never realized that if you are nice to people, they will be nice to you back. Most people learn that at age 5. Do you need PROFF for that?

It is most likely intentional. It is because residents probably complained that cars were speeding. DOT's solution is to greatly slow down travel speeds by screwing with the lights so they don't have to deal with those pesky communities who don't stop complaining. They know that drivers are less likely to complain when the lights are screwed up. They just suffer and accept it. And DOT can always deny it is intentional.

But it is not only Beverley Road. I know Avenue P is a problem. I am not sure if it is synchronized in the direction of peak travel like 65 Street it. If you think Avenue P is a problem now, wait until they take away a lane for SBS which I supported on Avenue P back in 2003 when I thought they were going to use parking lanes for SBS, not travel lanes.

M34: Perhaps for whatever reason ridership is down on almost every single crosstown route in Manhattan?

M15: Perhaps for whatever reason ridership is down on EVERY SINGLE north-south route in Manhattan?

B44: Perhaps for whatever reason ridership is down on nearly every parallel route in that area of Brooklyn?

M60: Perhaps because there is a new route serving much of the same market which was started shortly before the M60 conversion?

You really need to look at the data here. Or if you actually did look at the data, then you need to actually understand the data.

Okay if ridership on SBS is down because other routes are also down, what is that saying?

Ridership on the subways is at an all time high while bus ridership is declining. Clearly something or many things are wrong with the buses. It was the stated hope of the MTA that SBS would reverse that trend. If in most cases, that has not happened, how can it be considered successful?

SBS ridership is not down because other routes are down. SBS ridership is down likely FOR THE SAME REASONS the other routes are down.

Why is declining overall bus ridership a negative? Moving riders to the subway is certainly a success from the MTA's perspective. Moving them to Bicycles would also be another major success, which is something I suspect is largely contributing to why Manhattan as a whole is down substantially more than the rest of the city. The goal of SBS is to offer faster and more reliable service on high-ridership bus routes, not increase ridership.
