On Ave N, E 12 to E 19th tend to be "traveling lights," changing in succession with the direction of traffic. Without congestion, E 12 to E 19 is real fast and ordinarily non-stop on Ave N. This is do-able because Ave N is one way.

Ave P, a two-way, tends to have all the lights change at once (again, same range, E 12 to E 19).

But On Beverley, it seems you have to stop at almost every block between Coney Isl Ave and Ocean Ave, regardless of direction traveled. I was just wondering if it's intentional or not. It seems to literally be set up that unless you totally put the pedal to the metal, you arrive just on time at each block for the light to turn red in some cases.
