Just when you thought this thread was dead...Got some SF Bay Area pics off my defunct Geoshitties page (actually, it's still active (except for those frequent times when Geoshitties cuts off the bandwith), but it hasn't been updated in 3 years, and I have no plans to). Anyhow...  From March 1996, appears to be a New Flyer D40HF, on Broadway in downtown Oakland. This was the only one of my 10 Bay Area visits that I stayed in Oakland.  A then-new Gillig Phantom, westbound on Santa Clara St in downtown San Jose, in September 1997.  A 1992 Flxible Metro in April 1997. Up next, San Francisco Muni |
