Moving into the 90s... 4624 laying over at the Daly City BART station on the 28-19th Ave line in July, 1991. (I took this pic while waiting for a slow-ass samTrans bus to Candlestick Park to see the Giants play the Mets. For $1.00 more, I coulda gotten an Express Muni bus from downtown SF to the stadium. Instead, I got to the park only minutes before the first pitch, then afterwards, had another long wait to get back to Daly City, while virtually the entire Muni fleet passed by going back to SF. Oh well, at least now if I go to a Giants game, I can take the T-Third Muni Metro line!) :)  I think this was taken in July 1992, or maybe it was July 1996. 4624 climbing a hill on the 83-Pacific (back then, this route was through-route with the 12-Folsom (I think), dunno if it still is).  This pic is definitely from 7/96. 1977? Flyer E-700 electric trolley bus westbound on the 1-California line at Kearney and Sacramento (I think). That's it for Bay Area bus pics, later on (probably not today), I will post some Muni Metro, BART and SCVTA rail pics on SubChat. Enjoy! |
