The one thing I haven't seen mentioned in any of the media coverage is how long Muldrow was employed by Paramus. His most recent suspension was just a few months ago - Dec 20, 2017 to Jan 3, 2018, according to NorthJersey.com/The Record - which didn't affect him because that mostly aligned with the holiday break from school. A couple of sick days taken, and no one missed him. That's likely how he's been skating all this time... let things happen while school is out so it never affects his job.And I agree with your acknowledgement that mandatory retirement might hurt a few good drivers. But as they say in sports, better to cut a player a year too early than a year too late. |
