But guess what. The hipaa privacy laws that were put in place to safeguard your personal medical records can be manipulated to obfuscate an underlying medical condition from a prospective employer for a cdl bus driver. Saw several guys cobble together 2 weeks vacation one year onto 2 weeks vacation from next year and
undergo cardiac procedures. And thanks to hippa privacy laws their employers (whether it be NJT or local school districts) didn’t have a clue. Find a soft touch cdl physician for your next physical, leave a few details missing from your paperwork and you’re good to go. The solution is pick an age date and cull the herd. Until then if there is a loophole someone will find it.
