You have already indicated your biases toward the pedestrian.Are to talking in general or about this specific instance with me blocking the crosswalk regarding checking your side and rearview mirrors and turning toward the left? That is what you do when you are passing another car. In this instance, when I stopped, I proceeded after the pedestrians in front of my car were finished crossing. You check your side and rearview mirrors to check what is going on in the back and sides of your car behind you. Since my next immediate action was to go forward, why is it relevant what is going on behind my car? And as for the checking the sides of my car, why would pedestrians be walking into the side of my car as I was moving forward unless they want to get hit? So I really do not see your point. |
