The 5 cents surcharge was eliminated when there was a fare increase. Queens Transit (not part of MTA) also had the surcharge. And the receipts were not given to TBTA toll collectors. Surcharges were also eliminated on other bus routes with zone fare: Jamaica Buses Q 112 to Far Rockaway, Green Bus Lines Q 60 to Manhattan, Triboro Coach Q 53 to Rockaway Beach and Command Bus Q 110 to Downtown Brooklyn. |
