I wasn’t sure exactly how that works. By the way, if I recall when the TA fare went up from 15 to 20 cents, the 5 cent surcharge was retained so I’m not sure which increases caused it to be eliminated. It wasn’t until sometime after the fare increase in 1966 that I rode the Q44 again and by that time I was a TA employee so I didn’t have to pat anyhow. |
