The closed Veolia would come to operating Suffolk Transit is if they beat out for one contract, I don't see them getting all three contracts nor do I see the county being able to put all the routes in one bid. (Suffolk Bus, EBT, and Twin Forks AKA Sunrise and Hampton Jitney would surely argue and sue the county again)It's all in how you write up the bid and contract. ST could very easily write up a litigation-proof proposal that requires a single contractor to operate the whole system. |
