Based on our record of being correct and your record of being wrong, it would be smart and respectful on your part to actually consider what we have to say when we disagree with you. There are many good features in Vision Zero. However, its main feature, the 25 mph default speed limit does not make any sense which is my major objection to Vision Zero. Arterials need higher speed limits. Yes there have been some very unfortunate incidents, but to say Vision Zero is effective is ridiculous. We have Vision Zero and those three DWI incidents still ocurred. So how ihas it been successful? Vision Zero does not address DWI. Many fatalities are caused by turning vehicles which Vision Zero also does not address.

You can't equate that type of error with someone who fabricates a story as Brian Williams did. Last month I saw the movie "The Witness" about the Kitty Genovese murder in 1964. For 50 years everyone was told there were 38 eyewitnesses who did not call the police based on a single NY Times story that was untrue. No one wanted to challenge the writer because he was so well respected as was the newspaper. Twelve years of research by the victim's brother revealed the news story to be a fabrication. In fact there was only one eyewitness and he did call the police. The worst part was that the writer knew at the time that the story was false but went with it anyway just to sell newspapers.
