There are many good features in Vision Zero. However, its main feature, the 25 mph default speed limit does not make any sense which is my major objection to Vision Zero. Arterials need higher speed limits.Yes there have been some very unfortunate incidents, but to say Vision Zero is effective is ridiculous. We have Vision Zero and those three DWI incidents still ocurred. So how ihas it been successful? Vision Zero does not address DWI. Many fatalities are caused by turning vehicles which Vision Zero also does not address. |
