It would also be good to have a non-pie in the sky proposal for the line's northern connection.

Queens Blvd doesn't have room for it.
LIRR won't want it.
The Lower Montauk is 15 mph track with no direct connection to Manhattan.
You could never justify building another E. River crossing for this line.

What does that leave?

No it's not! Only people who still think it's 1984 and earlier or who watch too many movies or tv shows about making money in New York think that. Most people in and out of New York know it's Midtown. Genting included. And they're not going to put up good money and rebuild unused r-o-w for another service to Resorts World from Lower Manhattan that "takes the long way" to get there. They've already got the A doing that. This crazy W service you keep proposing WILL NOT save any time over the current A service to Aqueduct.

Now if Genting wanted a faster rail service to Midtown, that's a different story. There isn't one now. But don't think Genting will put up money to rebuild the Rockaway branch for such service.

My plan would in fact have the (M) become 24/7, something that likely will have to happen anyway, especially once the project at the Domino Sugar plant is completed.

I would actually have it so the (G) and (M) both go to 179th Street during rush hours and other times of heavy use and 71st-Continental during times of lighter use.

The (W) would become the Broadway part of the QBL line and leave after 63rd-Rego Park.
