No it's not! Only people who still think it's 1984 and earlier or who watch too many movies or tv shows about making money in New York think that. Most people in and out of New York know it's Midtown. Genting included. And they're not going to put up good money and rebuild unused r-o-w for another service to Resorts World from Lower Manhattan that "takes the long way" to get there. They've already got the A doing that. This crazy W service you keep proposing WILL NOT save any time over the current A service to Aqueduct.Now if Genting wanted a faster rail service to Midtown, that's a different story. There isn't one now. But don't think Genting will put up money to rebuild the Rockaway branch for such service. |
