You have no idea about how these things work at all, do you? Degree in electrical engineering perhaps? How about a basic knowledge of the difference between AC and DC propulsion, and what is needed to make either work? |

Guy, i ride them enough, they DON't creak. The only cars which make noise during bumps are the PA3s, which is due to their door trolleys. They aren't cracking, only at the end bonets, and if that were a reason to junk a car, a lot of the MTA cars with fiberglass gotta go.Dirt can be cleaned. |

You admitted that the ends are cracked. I rode them back in March and creaking and moaning were quite evident. If dirt can be cleaned, then it should be cleaned. Again, there is nothing wrong with the MTA that a little financial support in the form of promises being kept by the city government wouldn't cure. You can't sit there in front of your pc and tell me that PATH is superior in every way to the MTA. You are not comparing things that are alike. PATH is a tiny little road and the MTA moves millions a day and quite well thank you. Move on already.:) |

It is geeting close to slavery. I bet the supervisors don't do a thing but sit down either. That isn't how it is supposed to work, just to let you know. Be free. That tyranical managment is known as the Comnine, predicted by Ken Kessy in one flew over the cukoo's nest. Theodore Kazcinsky predicted a similar thing in industrial societies. I don't agree with him killing the people he did with his bombs, but that guy was no retard, he solved some math problems in college his professors couldn't, and he was even an assistant professor, but then he chose the wrong method to spread his views. He could have had a better influence through a more subtle method like writing, and that would take longer, but would eventually work, i think. |

Ancillary staff must rely on company rules. It is rather difficult to get fired from there but possible. At this moment, of the four hospitals that they own, there are nearly 500 openings with at least 100 of them for nurses. Lots of tunrover and lots of part time positions. Not many positions are filled with full time people when they are vacated. Then if a part timer doesn't show up (as in get hired), they will leave the duties of that person to whomever is left behind. I currently work two distinct full time positions rolled into one. |

PS, i know hospitals and some of their workings. The high turnover rate is due to the hospitals overloading the workers, not to mention the bad treatments hospitals give, which have the same feeding schedules no matter what medication you are on :(. They recently closed a hospital around here, called Greenville Hospital. It was a GOOD hospital with good staff and patient treatment. It was closed due to Jon "Banana In Ass" Corrizine pulling the chit down in trenton, and allowing liberty health to shut it down over a 1 million dollar deficit. Not to mention how much money the new big hospitals loose and how poorly patients are treated :( |
