While the left has held rallies, vigils, and chanted “we shall overcome” the right actually took over the government by the time-honored method of actually voting, while lefties sat at home and posted hashtags. So now the left has finally realized that they can have the government they want by voting, and you don’t like it because you’re outnumbered. For decades now, the right has realized that they will end up in the wilderness if the left ever decided to start voting, so they have made efforts to put up roadblocks with gerrymandering and voter suppression. They also made sure to stack the courts while they could. |

The early voting location at 13th Street between B and C in zip code 10009 (and you can't get much more left wing than that) was totally jammed for 7 straight days of early voting. It was only on October 31 and November 1 that the crowds slacked off. And there weren't even any races in serious contention. It was just people who wanted to make their opinion of Trump known to the world. |

You are correct, the other viewpoint is an obsolete view of what is successful "management" I stayed in my collective bargaining group, and with hourly set well above "scale" I worked a deal that salary and benefits combined ended up being quite a bit more than almost everyone in the company with a title supposedly "above" mine. But people who reported to me, who were willing to take all the emergency call work and weekend and holiday coverage could make more than me. Who cares. Their willingness to do that and always come through made my group a success, and when I was at the rink, or watching TV at home, or out to dinner, they made the blood money. My function was to keep that going....I was well rewarded for what I did, if someone sacrificed to make more, God bless them... |

I saw to it that my deputies scheduled their work and lived within their budgets - That's how it worked. |
