The right has made itself as vociferous as the left. While the left has held rallies, vigils, and chanted “we shall overcome” the right actually took over the government by the time-honored method of actually voting, while lefties sat at home and posted hashtags. So now the left has finally realized that they can have the government they want by voting, and you don’t like it because you’re outnumbered. For decades now, the right has realized that they will end up in the wilderness if the left ever decided to start voting, so they have made efforts to put up roadblocks with gerrymandering and voter suppression. They also made sure to stack the courts while they could. |
