Sure. Shoot first & ask questions later. Guilty until proven innocent. You must have done something wrong or else you wouldn't be in trouble etc. etc. All MTA rules that upper MGT subscribe to when dealing with union employees, especially the ones making more $$$ than them.
Bottom line here, If he's cleared of any wrongdoing and his absence from work is justified, lets hope he gets a good lawyer & sues the balls of them. Defamation, unjust termination for starters.
