I didn't realize that MARTA went that fast! We don't hear enough about MARTA here. The only threads that I see are negative.

FWIW, MARTA is the fifth largest metro system in the country with a network larger than Philadelphia and Los Angeles (excluding their supplemental streetcar and stadtbahn networks). While SubChat has its insular tendencies, MARTA is generally overlooked by it's generational siblings, WMATA and BART, due to its lower (but not abysmal) ridership counts, and the fact that Atlanta isn't the type of place that one thinks of in terms of transit-oriented development. Unlike a CTA "L", WMATA Metrorail or NYC Subway in the US or Paris Metro, Madrid Metro, London Underground, or Moscow Metro in Europe, the average railfans isn't craving a ride on MARTA.

Hell, the only reason I even bothered riding was because I asked my cousin to escort me on a visit there nearly six years ago.
