No, i won't do that, once they are reefed, they are reefed. The time has come for some of those 40s, and 42s, after years of neglect, but some can still be rebuilt to prime vehicles. I will convert the NTTs to SMEE braking, and re-enforce their frames. Give them better seats and all. The BMT stock will get Arnine type seating arrangement. I will put some redbirds back in service when needed, and i will keep most of the PATH PA cars, and i might even test them on the IRT to see how they will ride, and if they are better than the NTTs. I will rebuild the R32s and some R38s to have a better ride, better soundproofing, and better performance. I won't be a butt-head to the NTTs, i won't just scrap their bodies, i will rebuild them to be proper subway cars.
