All lines do not have the crush loading problems that made 60 foot better. So you will have new 60 ft cars for those lines that need more doors, and you can have some new 75 ft cars that will probably run on less packed lines where the benefit of less cars will outweigh the loading capacity issue.One of the barriers to the longer car concept; passability between cars, was eliminated when they decided to ban passing through. |
