I was thinking more of something like the emergency covers for the BIE cord in the A-division. Do those deter any false BIE's? I don't know, just an idea. I see how allowing passengers to open those doors could be a problem, but I have always thought that there is also a danger in keeping them locked.Problem with those exit gates is that there is no reason not to punch out of fare control. Police stand right by allowing it. I've noticed some stations no longer have working alarms on those gates or very low alarms. |
