Re: Moving the (R) to Nassau Street permanently

And this version of the (W) I would do (that would replace the (R)) would have about half the trains continue to Brooklyn, some to 9th Avenue, others at Bay Parkway. You could set that part up with either a yard at 9th Avenue that is exclusive for the (W) OR all yard (W) runs are in-service to Bay Parkway where they drop out (likewise, in this, all Nassau (R) yard runs are in-service from/to Broadway Junction and would ne noted in the schedules as such).

Eliminating the (R) from Broadway, even if you add some (W) trains on 4th Avenue to 36th (about half the (W) trains during the week and all of them on weekends) would make the (R) far more efficient in Brooklyn, which is why I would move the (R) to Nassau even if it meant shortening the (J) to Chambers (and again, with limited exceptions in this scenario passengers simply would be able to walk across the platform at Canal southbound/Chambers northbound to switch trains).
