Why? If you're being asked to go into a dangerous situation, then additional pay is warranted. If you are offered protection that will remove over 90% of the danger and refuse it, then why should you be entitled to the extra pay?I understand that you don't like vaccine mandates, but they've been around for decades. The MTA agreed to the additional death benefit when there was no reasonable way to provide protection - but now that there is, revoking the benefit for those who refuse to protect themselves is not unreasonable. subfan |
