I don’t recall the Y/Y on the Sea Beach or the W/W on the West End but I definitely remember the G/G on the 4 Av. Pre Chrystie, the 4 Av Lcl was Y/G to Ctl and GG to 57 St, But when the 4 Av went to Astoria, the markers were G/G. post Chrystie, the 4 Av was routed back to Astoria and carried W/W till the markers were revamped and the 4 Av (RR) went back to G/G. What I do remember was the J that had been G/G to/from Broad St was changed to Y/Y. The West End would have had to have 2 sets of markers N/B one for 168 St and one for 57/6. When the markers were changed, the A to Lefferts and 207 St was changed from R/R to G/G and the AA lcl which had been R/G was chanced to G/R. |
