When "regular" Myrtle Ave express service began in 1917 (or 1918), the express trains left Chambers St, skipped Canal, stopped at Bowery, and ran non-stop from Canal to Central Ave. Now, it may be difficult to comprehend, but remember all of the other services that shared the Williamsburg Bridge back then. |
