Baltimore's homicide counts post Freddy Grey have surpassed even the crack era. Virtually every single one of those souls were 1) poor and 2) African-American. Yes, the BPD is corrupt to the core and needed institutional change, but let's speak the truth: the elites only care about challenged communities if there is some left wing class warfare narrative to attach to it.
