I agree. I believe he was sincere. He also answered his email personally and promptly. Who else did that? The other day I sent one of his subordinates an e-mail with a cc to Byford. Never got an answer from his subordinate, but Byford replied in three minutes.

Last year, someone sent him an email that there was trash piled up under an el for months. He made one phone call, and a truck arrived in 15 minutes to clean it up!
