Finally. Yeah it's great for gloating over the result of other's mistakes. No, that's not a reason to leave it in place.

Would you want to fly on a plane that tests the pilots by, ohhh, cranking in some nose-down trim at random times to test their skills? Pilots are expected to cope with too-low angle of flight, and there are convenient trim switches to correct that, reachable by merely extending your thumb or the like. If there happens to be a hazard regarding the stuff aiming too low, why need leave it be? Heck, why not occasionally throw in some nose down way too low 11'8 trim to keep'em honest? Just annunciate with steering wheel shaker, lights, and "pull up! pull up!" voice alerts, that's more than enough warning. All they gotta do is click the trim switch click the turn signal and take another road. Whatsaproblem?

I admit I've enjoyed the videos of of idiots getting a wake-up, but that's a huge, destructive waste to provide a few chuckles.
