Why does it have to a be be a subway ? There is such a thing as light rail, and the London Overground model of a hybrid commuter rail/rapid transit.There aren't going to be any more subways built in Queens. Lucky if there is ever an extension of the Nostrand subway or a Utica subway in Brooklyn. |
